MEET Susan Nilon, RN

Director of Operations for New Skin & Body Aesthetics.

Susan Nilon, RN, has been an integral member of Mission Endoscopy Surgery Center since 2010, caring for our patients before, during, and after their procedures. As an endoscopy nurse for the last 7 years, Susan has become well respected among our patients and staff. She has also had the opportunity to work with skilled physicians at a renowned Laser Liposcupture center in Costa Mesa, and has years of experience and expertise in the field of weight management, and diabetes education. She is a knowledgeable and compassionate partner in the process. Her commitment to providing the best aesthetic and wellness experience possible is observed by all. As nurse injector, Susan combines her thorough knowledge of facial anatomy, caring nature, and clinical training and expertise in cosmetic injections to achieve beautiful non-surgical results for our patients in a safe, comfortable setting. Susan is a perfectionist when it comes to her technique. She considers facial aesthetics an art.

Susan has complemented her nursing skills by attending trainings, symposiums, as well as a number of intensive courses on injectables sponsored by the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM) and the National Laser Institute (NLI) in which experts in the field train qualified nurses how to safely and effectively inject neuromodulators (such as Botox and Xeomin) as well as a variety of fillers (such as Juvederm and Restylane). She is also Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified.

Throughout her 21 years in nursing, Susan has enjoyed working closely with her patients, many of whom have come to know her as a trusted confidant.

“I spend a lot of time with our patients. As a nurse, I want to nurture and educate. I need to hear what it is that my patients would like and manage their expectations. When their needs are met, it translates into big changes in the way patients feel about their appearance. I love what I do and it is a great feeling to come to work every day and make a positive difference in someone’s life.”
